Technical design work on one of the largest talent-housing developments in Dongguan’s Songshan Lake Science City.
| Large-Scale Residential | Dongguan, China | Our Role: Construction Drawing Design (Selected Portions) |
What We Did on This Project
- Construction drawing design for selected portions of the development
- Code-compliant technical documentation taking design intent to a buildable project
The Project
Songshan Lake International Talent Community is a large talent-housing development in the Songshan Lake Science City area of Dongguan, built as a flagship residential project for the region’s highly skilled workforce. It combines high-rise residential towers, a central landscaped courtyard, retail and amenity space, and dedicated children’s and lifestyle facilities.
It is one of the largest and most prominent residential developments our team has contributed to in China.
Our Role
Our design team carried out construction drawing design for selected portions of the project. That work turns design intent into buildable, code-compliant technical documentation: the drawings contractors actually build from.
We are clear about the scope: we did not design or build the whole development, and the development’s own marketing images belong to the developer, so we do not reproduce them here.
Why This Matters for Your Project
Construction drawings are where a project either becomes buildable or runs into trouble. The same technical discipline carries over directly to the international projects we support:
- Drawings that match real materials. Our team understands how specifications on paper translate into materials that can actually be sourced, shipped and installed.
- Code compliance from the start. Experience producing code-compliant documentation for large residential projects helps catch problems before procurement, not on site.
- Scale. Working on a development of this size means handling repetition, consistency and coordination across many buildings and unit types, the same challenges multi-unit projects face overseas.

Design and Supply, Under One Team
WUMEI’s project work draws on a qualified architectural design team alongside our building materials supply chain. For clients, that means material selection, BOQ and procurement are grounded in real design and construction-documentation experience, not just product catalogues.
