Edge and corner protection on every pallet, since impact damage concentrates at edges and corners far more than on flat surfaces.

A packaging standard that only exists as a verbal understanding is difficult to enforce if something arrives damaged. Specifying the packaging requirements explicitly in your order confirmation or purchase agreement — pallet type, stacking limits, moisture barrier requirement — gives you a documented basis to hold the supplier accountable, and gives the factory’s packaging team a clear, unambiguous standard to follow rather than their own default approach.
